Week 1 - Florida

Its been a week full of many many mixed emotions. Things are beginning to pick up though and I am truly experiencing the joys of missionary work. Mornings are really hard, but i get through them, once we start working things are okay. I made a list of the things that are keeping my going. they are:

1. Short term: Being able to see Sister Hansen, Mieling, and Gordon next week at a mission tour conference. They were in my district at the MTC.
2. Blessings for my family
3. D&C 31 (I read this while facing anxiety in the MTC last month. It brought me assurance that all would be well with my family, and I this is truly the time for my mission)
4. Blessings for my future family
5. The temple (Every time I think about the Fort Lauderdale temple being done I am filled with so much peace. I am not sure why but I am glad it does.)
6. Already having about 3 months done. It brings me comfort that I am not starting right from the very beginning. That I have my MTC time x's 2 and a few days in the field already towards my time.
7. Rachel Barker and Lauren Best, Every time I think about them I remember I am not alone in this.
I am in the same zone I was in last time but I new area called fountain blue. Its a little nicer than my first area which is nice.
I really like my trainer. Shes understanding and loving and we have a good time together.
The weather is pretty nice but I don't like my humidity hair! But my skin isn't crying for lotion as bad as it was in Utah so that's good.
Every time my companion has to back out the car I have to stand behind the car and wave her back, I think it is so funny and I always wonder what people think. especially when there are like nooo cars around!
Well that's all for now! Please be safe and happy!! I love you soo sooo much!!!!!!
xoxo
