This past week FLEW by! it was crazy! But things are getting better and better everyday (aside from the spanish). This week while knocking on doors TWO people at two different houses looked at me and said "I dont speak english" and I was like uhhhhh, "I am speaking spanish!" TWO people hahaha, pretty awful, but im working on it. Right now our main investigator speaks english but she prefers spanish, which makes things a little easier for me.
Speaking of her- Her name is Johan, she is from Puerto Rico (yes mom, I asked her about those pastries we ate every morning while we were there and she did know what I was talking about) but she grew up in Boston. She has a daughter who is 5 named Paula/Josmarie and a 1 yr old named Joscar. She has learned all the lessons, keeps all of her commitments, and loves church! She really wants to be closer with Jesus Christ, and she is ready! There is just one problem- she lives with her kids dad, and she doesnt want to marry him, so she has to move out to be baptized, but she cant afford to right now. We pray for a miracle every day! please pray for her too!
