This week was exciting! We had a specialized training for the temple! We (sisters only), will be working in the tents that everyone goes in to watch the temple video before they go in for the tour. They will rotate us, so each companionship will go every four days. So that will be between 4 and 5 times. We will get to go to the dedication and the cultural event! For the cultural event they are having us walk down to sing the last verse in the last song! We will be standing right in front of President Monson and Uchtdorf. We are all pretty excited!

This week was good but hard. We meet some really awesome people but none of them came to church. That's the thing about missionary work, you work so hard and are so diligent and so obedient, but there is not much you can do when it comes to other peoples agency. This work is truly the Lords though, so we just have to keep moving forward with trust.

 I LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!

 Dear President Anderson:

The training we had this week was so amazing, and we are so excited for the temple.

This week I went on an exchange with Sister Gordon. It was fun to be in YSA. One thing I learned from Sister Gordon was the way to be myself as a missionary, while still being obedient and reverent.

This week in my studies of the Book of Mormon I noticed a pattern with words. Often times if the word 'covenant' is used the word 'remember' is used before or after it. If the word 'promise' is used so is the word 'fulfilled' and if the word 'prepare' is used so is the word 'deliver'. I think that those simple things teach us a lot about the character of Christ. He remembers the covenants we make. He fulfills his promises, and he prepares and delivers us! In knowing this I realized, how could we not trust the Lord? We must do all in our power to be covenant keepers, obedient, and faithful and he will remember, fulfill, prepare, and deliver.

The past few weeks we have been working with some pretty less active families, and they have been making progress. This Sunday we were expecting a family of four and a couple to come to church but they didn't and we were pretty disappointed. Sacrament meeting started and Sister Chiou said to me 'Karla is here.' It was a less active mom and her son. Seeing them there literally took away all my feelings of disappointment. I was so excited.

I am looking forward to a new week. We have a good size teaching pool, and we are excited to continue to find! Sister Chiou and I keep saying while we are walking "faith in every footstep."
