I really thought I would transfer this week out of Fountainebleau, but here's to making it through four transfers and I'm still here!  On Sunday I realized I really didn't want to be transferred as we were with Magela at church, so I was happy to get to stay here longer.

Right now Magela is making absolutely stunning progress. She knows the church is true. Every time we meet with her she bears testimony and the spirit just hits me so strong. She has hope and happiness she never thought she could have.

On Saturday night she texted us and said she wouldn't be coming to church because there was no one to watch her 2.5 yr old Mikeyla. She has been nervous to bring her to church because since she got hit by a car she only had one usable leg and she's a little rascal...a very cute little rascal!

We wouldn't take no for an answer and went over on Sunday morning to help her with the baby...well as much as we could without breaking any rules.

Mikeyla LOVED nursery, and she didn't want to leave, I think that brought a lot of peace of mind to Magela.

During Sunday school I felt inspired that it was time for Magela to have her baptismal interview. It ended up being a very spiritual experience for her and I think she is finally ready to make a decision about what to do about her "husband." I think she understands that her baptism is now her first priority. There isn't a doubt in my mind she will be getting baptized in the next few weeks.

One thing Magela, Sister Mckay, and I have been able to learn together is the importance of having a relationship with God, a very strong one that is. Even the closest person to us, the person we trust most will let us down in one way or another. It is because we are human, we can't be perfect, and we never will be in this life. The only people who won't ever let us down is our Father in Heaven, and His son Jesus Christ. They have more love for us than we can comprehend, they have plans, and make promises, and they always fulfill these, and they always deliver.

I am doing all I can to build these relationships. And I am beginning to see miracles in my life, and in this work. Being connected to God the Father and Jesus Christ is the key to a happy successful life no matter what may come our way. They know us, they understand us, and they will not forsake us.

These are my two favorite scriptures right now....the first is the action we put forth, the second is the blessings received,

"Now this was the faith of these of whom I have spoken; they are young, and their minds are firm, and they do put their trust in God continually." Alma 57:27

I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up. D&C 84:88

What a beautiful promise from the Lord.

This work is hard, in a way no one will understand unless they experience it. But my heart is so full. This is His work. Its a marvelous work! I know that Jesus Christ lives.

All my love,
Sister Koutz
