Florida is getting hotter and hotter everyday, along with a good storm everyday. Sometimes there's no rain though, just thunder and lightening. I don't recommend taking a beach vacation to Florida in the month of June... it will get rained out. :) But every evening it is followed by an amazing sunset!
Next week we welcome our new mission president, President Richardson. Bitter sweet, but we are excited for him to come here!
We are also pretty excited over here because Elder Holland dedicated the 2nd branch in Cuba last week! and trust me that is a HUGE deal. the work is progressing and well I just love the Cubans. Hopefully full-time missionaries from the Florida Fort Lauderdale mission will find our way in there soon :)
This week we had the opportunity to go to the temple. We all walked out on cloud 9, with brains full of new information. Going to the temple as a missionary was something special.
A few months ago we received a training from a 70, he told us to bring questions to church so that is can be a revelatory experience! So we did that with the temple, I brought 4 questions, and all 4 got answered!!!
Not to mention the new insight I received about the importance of ordinances. We had a question and answer session with the president after and yes I stumped him. So maybe I taught him a little something new :) He taught some cool things! if you want to hear more, email me or write me and I will elaborate.
Know this though, Power comes from ordinances and knowledge of the atonement. But we can only fully receive the fullness of the atonement through these sacred ordinances.

A FEW MORE THOUGHTS
This whole week as I was experience testimony builder after testimony builder, experiences to continue my conversion, and moments where the hand of the Lord is so obvious, and sometimes so subtle all I could think was 'Do we know what we have?' (reference below)
Do we? This is the Lords church, HERE and only here do we have the fullness of the gospel, and only here can we even to start to understand the atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ. Here and only here do we have the power of ordinances and the priesthood, the important of making sacred covenants. Do we know what we have?
Its interesting to think that I 'should' actually be leaving Florida in just a few weeks. But then I think at the same time, I 'shouldnt,' I know I am supposed to be here at this time right now. I know that I needed to learn the wonderful things I learned during my 10 months home, because now I can stand here strong, winds can come at me in all directions but I have the Savior as my rock, I am not going anywhere.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true and living church on the earth, and I am here, I am a missionary, I am forever converted, and I am not going anywhere.
