July 14th

Front of my house in Miami! I was way more sad to leave then I expected. The last time I saw Magela we talked about her going to the temple in a year and that we would come back and be with her. She put in her phone calendar on June 29, 2015 "Temple trip with Sisters." We are now allowed to text our recent converts from other areas on P-day. So I will be following up with her every week :)

It was an interesting and emotional experience to see these girls go. These are the sisters that were in
my first MTC district. With the mix of moving areas and companions I felt some anxiety kick in and thinking about the fact that I would have been home made it a little hard. But things are getting better. :)

My new area is sooo different then before. I am 'greenie breaking' in Lauderhill South. Greenie breaking means you are the first companion after their trainer. My companion is Sister Porter! I love her! We have so much fun! For both of us our Spanish is really getting put to the test, and its a blessing.
Lauderhill is North of Fort Lauderdale, where as Miami is south of Fort Lauderdale. More north means less spanish. Waaaayyy less, its the strangest thing to knock someones door and to speak english. Since there is way less spanish that means our area is HUGE! Its a little overwhelming but we are getting the hang of it.

Other then that life here is good! The area was moving a little slow- lots of investigators and no one had dates. So...I set them all with dates. :) We should be baptizing this Sunday!

Although there are fewer people that speak spanish in this area I feel the people here are much more prepared then in Miami! They are hungry to learn. Also the ward here functions well! We have all the meetings we are supposed to have! Its great.

One thing is for sure though, the Fountaine Bleau Ward taught me how to really really love, and I am ever so grateful.

I will be hitting my technical half way point this month even though I have only been out for about 7 months. Its crazy!

I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!

XOXOXO
